Wan Chai HKCEC | Restaurant & Bar Hong Kong (RBHK) 2026 Grand Opening — Focusing on AI F&B Retail, Coffee Competitions, and Asian Culinary Trends to Create Diverse Dining Experiences
Description
The annual flagship event of the F&B industry, Restaurant & Bar Hong Kong (RBHK) 2026, will be held grandly from September 1 to 3 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Bringing together diverse brands and innovative business solutions—spanning meat and seafood, green products, coffee, spirits, catering equipment, and technology—the expo promises an experiential journey of flavor, trends, and innovation for industry professionals.
This year, the expo expands further into hospitality, food retail, and sustainability, while integrating the Retail Asia Conference & Expo (RACE) into its footprint. By connecting various touchpoints of F&B consumption, the event aims to help trade players grasp market trends, explore business opportunities, and unlock new development possibilities.
During the expo, a series of exciting activities and special zones will be set up, including the Asia Retail Conference in collaboration with KPMG, themed 'Catering Retail in Action - Technology, Collaboration, and Experience in the AI Era'; a wine and taste journey titled 'A Symphony of Asian Flavors'; the Hong Kong Coffee Competition, Best Bar Awards, and Top Chef's Recommended Restaurants. New features such as the Eco-Innovation Hub, Japanese Sake and Spirits Pavilion, and The Specialty Coffee Corner will also make their debut. The first Hong Kong-born Master Sommelier, Derek Li, will host a wine-tasting session at The Hub, while Brew Bar will feature award-winning baristas sharing their experiences, providing visitors with abundant inspiration and market insights.
To bring the industry together, the organizers will hold an opening ceremony on the first day of the exhibition, Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Hall 5FG of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The ceremony will be officiated by Dr. Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, along with Michael Duck, Executive Vice President of Commercial Development at Informa Markets and Informa Group. They will be joined by representatives from supporting organizations, including Mr. Yeung Ho Wang, Chairman of the Modern Management (Catering) Professional Association; Mr. Yip Hin Wai, Senior Market Officer of the Fish Marketing Organization and Vegetable Marketing Organization; Mr. Sidney Chin, Chairman of the Hong Kong Bar and Pub Association; Mr. Yeung Chun Nin, Chairman of the Hong Kong Catering Industry Association; Ms. Bear Bella, First Vice-Chairperson of the Hong Kong Hotel Industry Association; Ms. Selina Wong, Executive Director (Consumer Brands and Hospitality) of Invest Hong Kong; Mr. Kong Chi Hang, Representative of the稻苗飲食專業學會; Ms. Angela Yip, Partner and Head of Retail and Consumer Goods, KPMG China; and Dr. William Ng, Chairman of the Hong Kong Institute of Foodservice Managers, to inaugurate the three-day exhibition.
